Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are topically applied formulas that revitalize the skin surface by creating an even and controlled shedding of the skin cells. This allows new layers to be exposed, creating a fresh appearance and smoother texture to the skin surface and can be customized based on the patients needs and goals. A chemical peel can dramatically improve sun damage, acne scarring, blotchy pigmentation, fine wrinkling and early pre-cancerous skin lesions. A peel can also improve acne-prone skin and clogged pores. In combination with lasers, even deeper results can be achieved. MD Aesthetica offers a variety of peels formulated in different strengths and intensities.

MD Aesthetica offers several facials that will leave your skin feeling refreshed and renewed. Our licensed aestheticians can help you determine which treatment is best suited for your needs. Facials are a great foundation to any skin regimen to encourage cell turnover and fresh skin growth.

Micro-Needling Treatments

Micro-Needling initiates the skin’s natural production of new collagen and elastin fibers that thicken the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne scarring, sun damage, and stretch marks.  MD Aesthetica was one of the first clinics in Houston to introduce PRP Micro-Needling to our patients delivering exceptional results.

Platelet Rich Plasma is produced from an individual’s own blood. After a blood sample is obtained from a patient, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which is a tool that separates the PRP from the blood. The blood is spun for approximately 15 minutes.

PRP contains highly concentrated amounts of natural growth factors and other cytokines that promote the regeneration process of soft tissues. The PRP is applied directly to the channels that were created from the micro-needling to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen.
